Day One
Hit the HOP pretty hard today. Usually my regime takes a hit on weekends, but with just four weeks to go, I can't afford any slip ups. Worked my legs and shoulders. I had been using a workout from Men's Fitness designed to "uncover your abs before the end of summer". I like the workout so far. 3 separate weight workouts, with interval cardio on the days in between. I will have to switch it up a bit to focus on the bench and deadlift a bit more for the challenge however.
Feels good to be back in the gym! I ate a big post workout breakfast, sausage, eggs, potatoes and a couple biscuits. Had leftovers at work. A little fatty, but it beats fast food. I have been real good on my food the last 4 days, lots of turkey sandwiches, fruit and veggies...only had a two Bud Lights last night.
I started the program at 228.6
I am already at 226.2
Goal weight is right around 210 or so. See ya tomorrow. It will be hard to get my cardio in tomorrow. Church at 10, work at 12:30. I may try to get up early and do it before I shower for church...no cookies at coffee hour.
